I agree with alot of what you said and I only have a comment on this one. While I have a college education, it is essentially worthless. I earned the dubious honor of getting a degree and going to the least amount of classes to graduate. I was always at the OTB. I would go to all the tests, first day (to get the syllabus) and maybe a check in day to make sure the teacher didn't die. The only thing I learned, which I think is the only thing alot of people learned, was how to problem solve, otherwise, it was a waste of time.
