Here is his sire's form......

You'll notice his only bad race that year coming at Philly Park in August, when he and the Guadalupe Preciado trained Wind Drinker, dueled head-to-head through a supersonic 20 4/5th opening quarter mile--both of them were eased.

Anyway, Forest Wildcat was a sprinter and throws sprinters. The 2nd dam of Chatain was 4-for-12 sprinting, and 0-for-6 routing. The dam of Chatain was a sprinter/miler, and his first couple of siblings have been confirmed sprinters.

I will give him credit for outrunning his pedigree...when he won the one-turn mile stake on opening weekend at GP, holding off a late charge by Sir Greeley. He clearly has outrun his pedigree.

HOWEVER.....I believe you will see the best from him, at seven furlongs. He rates very kindly, and would be very tough against anybody at that distance, with a pace setup.

I could be wrong though.....
