My two cents is "the more public, the better."

So long as the attack is on the post, and not the poster, pretty much all is fair game by me.

For stuff I see I don't like or care about, I can always skip or scroll.


But that said, I do appreciate some minor fences to keep innane driveby trolls and flamers at bay.

I'm on a sports team board that started over a decade ago on a forum of a newspaper. Begrudgingly, it was taken private about six years ago....and remains that way. Now, we can raise all kinds of heck with each other and our opinions, but at least we all know that bottom line in the long run we all want our organization to do well.

As long as people who post here give an occasional hoot about thoroughbred racing from any angle, I say "the more the merrier."
