When I started with one of my current trainers back in the 1980s, he only had 13 horses. He didn't have many starters but his win percentage was pretty much always over 20%. Win percenatge obviously does not tell the whole story but to me it is the most important statistic there is. If a guy is winning at better than a 20% clip, he is obviously doing something right. If a guy is winning at under a 10% clip, he is obviously doing soemthing wrong.

Rup, he got a new client who basically had cheap plugs that other guys wouldnt win with. He was handed those cheap plugs and had to run them.
Look at his dazzling % in the money and in wins at the CD meet. Those horses he is kicking ass with were claimed or purchased by Ron in the interim. Take a look. I know you wouldnt know that unless someone told you, but now someone has, lol.
