Hes easily the best I have ever seen. I dont remember Sampras beating guys who were playing their absolute best tennis in 3 straight sets.
I also dont buy the argument that the competiton he faces makes him look better. I dont think Federer would have had that many problems with Sampras and Agassi, and the guys Sampras and Agassi were beating to win their slams.

Federer is the best I've seen for sure. His game is more well rounded than anyone else. And Agassi said he's the best he ever played as well so that covers the last 20 years right there.
