Obviously it takes balls to go out and be a public handicapper and it's a very high risk low reward type thing, because people are always going to criticize. But, obviously this thread was a joke and just some good natured ribbing.

I Understand your point. I guess its fun to poke fun of other people, every now and then. I know how it goes. I grew up in NYC/NJ Metro area. Saw people having fun at other people expense everyday some in a humorous way, others in a mean spirited way. I honestly have not met the man. Have no personal ties. Nothing. Been watching him for years on TVG, and his handicapping style is my fathers handicapping style if you know what I mean (old school). Some of the "Old School" concepts still apply today. The guy is not a bufoon/idiot as being portrayed in my opinion. Maybe Steve can get him on ATR&B and perhaps we could find out how much of a joker he really is?
Horse racing people are some of the most opinionated people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
Lastly, I am hoping to find an occasional serious discusion about handicapping on the site. Thats what I like to do. I'm hear to learn, discuss. You have to weed through the lots of BS to get at it.
