ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that Steve Crist is paid, he's earned through his own pluck, initiative and force of will. Read his book "Betting on Myself", and you'll come away with a tremendous respect and appreciation for what he's accomplished in his life.


(SIDEBAR: And everyone should read his weekend DRF piece on the laughable 'RFP' by the State of New York... 'BTW' pointed it out to me over the weekend, and it says everything that needs to be said. Also gives you an idea, if you have imagination, of what will transpire from here forward with NYRA...)
