I don't think you're one sided about much of anything, for what it's worth.
But I do agree with GR mostly on this one. The timing is bad for them to do that, especially so soon -- but after the past years when the people who we put in charge to advocate for us only had to work half as many days as their constituents (which i think is shitty), it's hard to get really riled up over them taking one day off, even if it's for something like a football game. Heck, they could take Tuesday off for a post-championship day of revelling....and if they came back Wednedsay their workweek would still be longer than a Republican-controlled workweek
That's why it's hard for me to really get ruffled about this one.
