Default Eventer horse and rider death meets with very different reaction

https://www.yahoo.com/news/katherine...163049300.html

As mentioned Monday on the show, Canadian eventer Katherine Morel and her TB mount Kerry On were killed in a rotational fall competing in Florida. What's interesting is how understanding the commenters are about the incident, citing how dangerous eventing is.. There's quite a few that draw parallels to racing's dangers and those of equestrian sport in general. Just intrigued as to the difference between a forgiving response to this versus the vitriol associated with racing tragedies.
