Went to the Hong Kong International Races in 2017 and the Prix de le Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp in 2018, next one will be the Melbourne Cup. It's really cool to see how universal the sport is- I met people from all over the world and they love the game as much or more than we do.

Actually that was the coolest part of the trip. Staying at the hotel adjoining to the track got to rub elbows with the racing community from around the world.
Just to name drop almost ran over Frankie Dettori who was staying just a few doors down. had a nice conversation with Mike Smith & Joe Talamo at the pool,
and had brief chats with Dale Romans, Dallas Stewart among others.
Even had Charlie Appleby tell me at the breakfast Thursday morning that his entries were ready to roll including Cross Counter who was coming off a 5 month break. What a training job to be able to get a horse ready to win a 2 miles off that layoff.
All very approachable and willing to talk horses with a stranger.
