Well, that was an ugly day of handicapping. Pretty interesting races but no player could show a
profit on the Gulfstream card and for the second time this year no ROI winner. If not for Cruzan
hitting a winner in race 8 our group would have got "skunked". Ruffian made a serious bid on a
three peat with Fortune's Fool in the 7th but fell a half length shy to Who's In Charge. As a result
it wasn't Ruff. Cal tried the Super Hi 5 in the Holy Bull and with Harvey Wallbanger and the longshot
Everfast finishing 1-2 it was not to be. $32,000 was bet in the pool and it was all rolled over with
no winners. Joly B was also stymied by the racing buffalo (I have his Wild Ride jockey card in my
collection) and Don played Harvey but only in the number two slot. Overall 2019 hasn't been kind
to our ROI with only Roamin still showing a profit. Tom....I truly believe your Saints would have put
up more than 3 points on the Patriots. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections.
