Plenty of horses pass vet inspection and break down.. The understaffed Illinois Vets let a number of less than sound horses run at Arlington this year and the result was a spate of fatalities... Before you start citing your decades of experiience, that fact comes from the top horseperson in the Chicago area, trainer-breeder Christine Janks.
