A lot has been made about Thomas but Stern can't act without proof. I'm as critical as anyone about this stuff but I think this was appropriate action...a half million fine for each team is no mere slap on the wrist. Anthony took it to the next level and deserved the most days. The original foul, while totally unwarranted and thug-like was greeted with six days...about the most one would expect. The message sent here is one that some folks on this board need to learn...you can't justify your behavior by pointing at the misdeeds of others! It's the same rationalization I heard in prison from the inmates..."I shouldn't be here cause other people do the same thing or worse"...we are each responsible for our behavior and Anthony has to deal with the ramifications of his!
MSG has audio of Isaiah telling Carmelo not to come into the paint. A coach shouldn't be talking to the opposing players period and certainly shouldn't be threatening them.
