The Fair Grounds on Saturday provided a whole lot of minus $100's and only 4 winning wagers.
Only two players made a profit on a tough betting day and they are the only players to take
home the points. Two players had near misses which could have provided a different ending.
Ruffian had a 40-1 horse finish second in the Risen Star and Criminal Type had a 14-1 pick
finish 2nd in the 12th. Nice picks but no cigar. Getting second place on the day was Indian
Hemp who played Gun Runner to win in the Risen Star. The $12.20 win payout was good
enough for a $34 profit on the afternoon. The winner of the day was clearly best and when
Clearly Now was clearly the worst Swedejxn ran away with a Fair Grounds win. Swedejxn
played a 1-3-4 trifecta box and with a 29-1 horse finishing second the $1 tri was worth a
swede $181.60. Congrats on the win Swedejxn. Following are the unofficial results

13 player field this week. Makes for more competition. As an added note I heard from
El Prado yesterday. Hopefully she will make it back to our races in the future. Sorry the
results are a little late. I've been sluggish since Saturday. Doc thinks I may have eaten
some tainted crawdads. Luckily the catnip picked me right up.
