A little hard to believe that Shane Spiess, who has been training 30+ years and whose family is as ingrained in Ohio racing as the Radoseviches, would endanger his livelihood and family's reputation over the tiny money in the MVR pool.

As Tony Black discussed yesterday, wouldn't be the first time the wrong horse was brought over and missed and won't be the last.
what are the repercussions though? just seems like it happens not for the first time nor the last time and everyone moves along. bettors got fleeced, other horseman in the race got fleeced...so what now? even if it was an honest mistake it seems like these stories always fall flat on there face in like 24 hours. I surely have NO INTEREST in betting MVR at the moment and I imagine others feel the same. I just don't get it...NFL, MLB the integrity of the game is paramount and with us it seems like we are simply on autopilot 95% of the time.
