I don't know myself, but I'm pretty certain it's a Euro event... That's a Tabor-Smith on the left and a Godolphin (with blaze) in the middle..

I think that's an image from the 2005 Blue Grass Stakes with, from left to right, Bandini, High Limit, Spanish Chestnut, Mr. Sword in behind in the blinkers and Paraneck colors, with Closing Argument and Sun King in behind with the white caps.

The shots on this thread show that its clearly Keeneland. Turning onto the backstretch - the training track is in a low place just below the judge's tower, and the distant water tower is on a hill at the back of the stable area, near the back entrance off of Rice Road. Long telephoto lenses really do compress distance perception, don't they?

So who is the horse on the left?

TitanSooner 02-18-2007 03:08 PM

Bandini

The Indomitable DrugS 02-18-2007 03:08 PM

The fraud Bandini

Pedigree Ann 02-18-2007 03:14 PM

I meant on the left of the header. Keeneland race in the middle, horse in profile on the left, girl with newspaper on the right. Brain not totally back in top shape from pain-killers for pulled chest muscle.

wow

Props to Kiris, that's just a little obscure...

KirisClown 02-18-2007 05:48 PM

We should do an entire thread devoted to pictures and identifying the runners in them....

jman5581 02-18-2007 11:16 PM

Wow ... I was just wondering ... you're GOOD!
