Ist ever " Track Trivia"

Hello to all fellow handicappers & horse lovers..

Here is were I will post daily around (6:00pm) a Track Trivia question for all to attempt to answer. Answer quickly to see if you can reply with the correct answer FIRST!! There is no prize other than the fact you KNOW your horses and are on top of your game and have bragging rights to post back for all to read your reply! I will name the correct response at the beginning of the next Track Trivia post.

A little history about me... I grew up in Saratoga Springs in the late 60's andsd all of the 70's. I have some of the great ones in my day. I currently live just outside the city and am a regular on the backstretch or Oklahoma training track across the street.

Lets get started and Good Luck!

My father walked his horse directly behind the great Whirlaway from the train station in Saratoga to the current Saratoga track. With the recent running of the Whirlaway this past weekend answer me this:

Were did Whirlaway begin his three year old season? Name the:
Date, Year, distance & Track.

Best of Luck..... Tony Clifton

I'll be in the way guys yell when they're mad. I'll be in the way kids laugh when they're hungry and they know supper's ready, and when the people are eatin' the stuff they raise and livin' in the houses they build - I'll be there, too."

OK, I got that film reference ( The Grapes of Wrath - Henry Fonda ).

It wasn't particularly amusing.
