i hear that, 1.47 and 1.59 and change going two turns under 127......... that horse was a freak......

The sad thing about watching these races is that now both of these horses would have been rushed off to stud after their 3 year old years because they had 'done enough' and we would never had these great duels as well as the BC classic. Of course we all know how their careers at stud went.

Good Taste ran a hell of a race. the ground lost going wide was all the difference. (maybe) but more importantly
what did it pay? $12.20

And he went 1:59 2/5 at Belmont and 1:58 4/5 at The Meadowlands that year. How many horses have run three sub-2:00 times in their career? How many have done it three times in the same year?
