My favorite Chicago bomber back on the tab!

Love this horse. If he's in the top five betting choices, you can toss him for the win. If he's 20-1 or better, you'd better unload. Caught him a few times two summers back. He's been running poorly lately, and took a nice break here so I hope he comes back and gets overlooked first time off the bench!

I have had props on this horse since he won at 35/1 and I had him in my pick threes, and my friends and I combined took about 10k away from Arlington that day. Also had him when he ran 2nd at Arlington (mile race) to Suave at 50/1, played a $50 exacta that day.

They have been running him over his head recently, he is a solid allowance/optional claiming, minor stakes horse

He's been running competitively enough. He's one of those horses who runs to his competition. He ran a huge third to Nkosi Reigns on million day in 2005, and ran a bang-up third in the NJC last year (but he got DQ'ed afterwards) behind Three Hour Nap and Sunshine Millions runner-up Summer Book. You put him a N3X and he runs up the track.

He's gutsy. The day he ran second behind Suave was one of the better days of my life at the track. I remember it perfectly. I played a $2 14-13-ALL trifecta with that meaning Suave-Courthouse-ALL, and it ran exactly that way, the $2 tri paid something like $2,200.

He's absolutely my favorite right now, and I thought he was through because he hasn't been on the worktab all this fall (he finished up the track once at the Hawthorne meet then dissappeared). I just hope he comes back in good shape and gets overlooked, because I'll be all over it!

He's BAAAAAAAACK!

Entered Saturday at Hawthorne at 30/1 on the ML.

I wonder if something went wrong with him last time because he was just awful and then took a big break. He's finally back again but against a pretty tough bunch for this condition in March at the Thorne.

With that said, when he's 30/1 on the morning line -- that's the time to bet him.

Of course, I will be at work and unable to bet him even a little bit, which should gaurantee that he will run well :D

I'm more interested in him NEXT time out, especially if he runs up the track this time. I would imagine he'll need a race, but second time back he should have every chance in a spot like this ad HUGE odds.

Just don't say I didn't warn you.

I think you're right, the time to really beware is the next couple of starts, even if he runs in the back of the pack this time. When he's ready the guy can bring it.

I'm hoping he runs poorly this time out so that I can get him next time and make plans to bet him even if I'm at work.

Heck (even though he got DQ'ed later, he ran a figure consistent with his very best), he ran third in a G3 race and third in the Cigar on Million Day against Lord of The Game and Nkosi Reigns.

He runs to his competition. When he's on, watch out :)

I remember that! Its like he won at huge odds and then next time back people considered it a fluke and let him go off again at large odds and he won right back a couple more times.
\
I didnt have him the first time but I did have something on him the second time. Thats one play I look for, a horse going off at big odds that just won, or had a much improved effort last time.

Does anyone know what happened to Cruz Contreras? I don't know if he was the jockey on mynameischase but for whatever reason it made me think of him and I haven't heard his name in quite some time. We used to call him "the cruiser".

fighting chickens???? omg

I felt bad for him because there was one stretch within about a week when he had like three spills, I didn't hear of any serious injuries but I thought it might have made him a little gun shy or worse caused him to hang it up. I thought he had a little talent as a rider.

'Chase hadn't finished in the same zip code as a race's winner in something like 10 straight races. I mean, we're talking 25-40 length drubbings everytime. All the sudden, he perks up and wins paying something like $250.

Then his form actually came around and stuck until Arlington where he won again.

And then he pretty much dissappeared!

well he was probaly decent enough to stick around here and make a living, especially as weak as the colony is here these days. jesse campbell went through a siimliar spell a couple years ago going down a few times in a couple weeks. jesse hada putstanding bug career here, you thought hed be a star by now but it just hasnt happened. still is having a very good FG meet, and is good jock

Campbell is still only ho hum as far as I'm concerned. James Graham has been the one that i think has developed the most these last several years on the FG/ARL circuit. I like him a lot especially on the turf.

Got everything out of it that I hoped he would.

He ran an even race and finished well enough, I can't wait for his next out. With any improvement he'd factor in there next time.

Went off at about 39-1 today so the odds should be pretty good next time too!
