2/11/07 Gulfstream Allowance race

Very impressive Darley maiden winners Mandurah and Came to Pass are both entered in the same allowance race on Sunday (as an entry).
I would guess they'll go off no better than 3-5

sightseeing got a dream trip he broke from post 10, prado got him to the rail, sat in behind the speed when it was time to run he put in a run, but came up short at the end, i am way down on him after today absoulte perfect trip and cant beat a bomb like that.

txshorns02 02-11-2007 08:45 PM

The 5 (Delightful Kiss) won at 23/1. The entry went off at 2.70/1 (5/2). Came to Pass finished 5th and Mandurah finished 7th

POINTGIVEN1985 02-11-2007 08:50 PM

yup, came to pass also got a good trip no excuses at all for him, but not even close to as disapointing as i think sightseeing was, with the trip he got he should have been a winner

POINTGIVEN1985 02-11-2007 08:53 PM

no.... did not bet the race, but i have been high on him, so it was kinda disapointing i bet 1 race all day today it was a $20 to win bet on balance, i thought she'd be better odds then 6-5.

Prado off both halves of the entry , telling indeed. Chelokee #7 & the 10 made their runs and cameup short, in off layoffs at a mile, while the winner #5 had better conditioning to get up after a couple of turf tries. ( of course i see this in post race anaylses ! ) Matz's ( #7 ),was sitting behind us for the race and he didn't seem too disappointed about the race. The 10 should like 2 turns better next time. Lawyer Ron looked brilliant in appearance and in his race. 1:35 for the mile off the LO, 7f in 1:22. Should have a very nice year with the Toddster.
