Thanks for the heads up. I like this one.....

Gauchos0522 06-19-2006 12:29 PM

I think Minister's Bid and Racketeer are also in the same race with him. Should be fun to watch.

not a bad little field for a thursday!

Gauchos0522 06-19-2006 12:35 PM

Habsburg had a nice maiden breaker last out and paid $20+ to win. He should be tough as well w/out looking at the pp's.

sumitas 06-19-2006 12:36 PM

Very nice field.

Can't wait to see how Minister's Bid runs...

sumitas 06-19-2006 12:57 PM

He's stretching out to a one turn 8F race. Plus he's coming off a layoff.

Thanks for the PPs!! I hope Flashy Bull take $$ because of the races he's been in... but Minister's Bid looks like he lays all over this field!!!... as long as he fires off the layoff.

Thanks 1st Sat. I will look it over tonight and see who I like. :)

Ministers Bid should handle this field pretty easily.

Cajungator26 06-19-2006 01:07 PM

I actually like Forest Phantom.

Ministers Bid is significantly better than these horses. He is the most likely three year old challenger to Bernardini.

sumitas 06-19-2006 01:11 PM

ahhh, Ward is 24% wins coming off a layoff, 15% sprint to rte... MB has been training in Saratoga and firing bullets.

This horse is being pointed towards the Travers.

That may be true, but he's also never beaten winners and hasn't gone two turns. Won very nicely at Keeneland, but it's way too early to rate him so highly. I guess he'll be 3/2 or so for this. I look forward to his race.

Thanks for the PP's man! I have been waiting for MB's return to racing.
I think the expression is "could be any kind".
