lol boca grande is the best filly not named dreaming of anna....
but i will agree that panty raid should win this race

blackthroatedwind 02-05-2007 02:08 PM

Silver Knockers maiden win was pretty impressive.

POINTGIVEN1985 02-05-2007 02:11 PM

agree, but boca grande is a graded stakes winner, with a big time pedigree

SniperSB23 02-05-2007 02:21 PM

I'll take Early Vintage.

$500K purchase by Team Valor, trained by Romans. Broke her maiden July 8th at Churchill and then entered the Adirondack where she scratched.

Sounds familiar. Thanks.

Team Valor currently owns her? I'll be rooting against.

these are all fillys with lots of potential, but boca grande is already proven i can see her having a better year then pine island did last year

A few of the names in this field are priceless...

Awsugahnow... haha!

As far as I know. I've been following a few of the Jump Starts which is why I've been following her. The Team Valor part is definitely not a positive.

Has ZERO early speed but a WICKED late kick. She's been flying at the end of every one of her starts. Came home in about 24 1/2 seconds at a mile in her MSW win.

The place and show horses from her maiden win July 8th are both in the G3 Silverbulletday on Saturday; Get Ready Bertie and High Heels.

Yes. It might have been the first Sunday.

I like Boca Grande as well but she hasn't exactly " proven " a great deal. She won the Demoiselle, which completely collapsed, against a pretty fair group and earned a decent but hardly spectacular figure.

She may have a good year, and I hope she does, but there are other fillies that are as fast if not faster.

Team Valor

I don't anything about Team Valor except they have had some good horses.

Tell me again

what is the knock against them?
