Really that put Thunder down too? Solis jumped off after the wire and he was vanned, said lame in the front right I believe. I was hoping it wasnt that serious. He went out a winner

I have turned into a big fan of Cushion track. The dirt at Santa Anita has to go.

Isn't Heza Lagend the horse that just beat Air Commander in a MSW? That's too bad, he looked like a nice colt.

The Bid 02-04-2007 09:51 AM

They need to do something about the grass out at Santa Anita. I heard they are engineering a new synthetic grass surface in England, all weather grass, supposed to stand up to all the elements and require no upkeep, no mowing, no divot repair. Stay tuned

Yeah Linny, shame the horse had so many problems, he wanted to be good.

Old Thunder

Old Thunder was not put down unless something developed in the last few hours. I talked to Ron this morning and he said he was doing better than yesterday. He was going to have Dr. Robbins come look at him this morning.

Redattore please update us as soon as you know.

Old Thunder

All I can tell you is he was doing fine this morning. McAnally said "he was 70% better" this morning. I read the other forums and I guess that might be how rumors get started and span the internet. Old Thunder was believed to have an injury up high possibly a shoulder. As I said the vet was supposed to look at him this morning. Hez a Legend shattered two sesamoids and did have to be put down. Ronnie was pretty down as he was his best prospect. Quite sad.

THanks Red, much appreciated
