For Whedonverse fans

Joss is directing an episode of The Office which will air on Feb 15th. There are several links to Myspace profiles of cast members and a PA on the show from Whedonesque site describing the filming of the episode. All compliments, including pictures of Joss calling the PA's mother to wish her a happy birthday and talking to her for over 5 minutes (she is apparently a huge fan). I've never watched this show but will catch that episode I guess.

I've heard from lots of folks that it's pretty good...just don't have time to watch everything and, as a rule, I don't appreciate modern comedies. I watch How I Met Your Mother when I can but frankly, I watch only cause Aly is on the show. I simply didn't like Seinfeld...I know, I'm weird, but I just never saw the point. I like my comedy within other genres (ie: Buffy, Charmed, Bones, House, Veronica Mars, Angel). Joss Whedon loves the show, and took the time to direct an episode so I guess I really should watch it...maybe I'll start.

It's very funny- you'll really enjoy it, Somer. Almost as good at the British version (I still say no one can do an uncomfortable pause like the Brits)

Oh! And it's set in Scranton!

I hope he doesn't screw this up, it's my favorite show and I don't want him putting a bunch of wierd stuff in there, although it could play well off of Dwight Shrute...

What "weird stuff" would you expect exactly?
