there goes my #1 guy, dont know who to back now. He claims with the emergence of Obama, Clinton, and with Gore looming on the horizon, he thinks he has a slim chance of gaining the partys nomination

Well the Dems will be dumb and nominate Hillary. The prob with the Dems is that they always nominate the wrong person.

The idea of Hillary running for President makes me want to vomit.

(Though I don't know what difference it would have made as he's right; he wouldn't have won the nomination. Nevertheless, I'm still glad.)

Not so long ago, the Republicans ran Bob Dole in 1996. Now that was a pretty motley crew, I'd say.... Bob Dole, Pat Buchanan (won New Hampshire!), Phil Gramm, Lamar Alexander and, of course, Steve Forbes.

Those were the days.... where's Ross Perot when we need him? Guy was 20 years too early. He'd have a big chance these days.
