Pay The Toll

Entered today in the 3rd today at Turfway. We are dropping her down from MSW to Maiden Claiming. The field is not that tough but there are a couple of good horses in this group.

I have to admit I've lost some money on her in the past year or so. If I remember correctly, she's had a few wide trips. I know some of the fields she had run in earlier in her career had produced a sizeable number of eventual, if not, next out winners. Good luck.

Thanks JJP. Her last few races she has faced some horses who fetched high prices at the sales. Several horses she has faced has come back to perform well in their next start(s). She has been plagued by a few stebacks, but right now she is doing really well. We really want to go longer with her but Turfway doesnt have any of those races.

Dan - I have heard that Fridays are a HUGE success at Turfway. They seem to be trying to do what is right.

good luck!!!!

Are you going to run her on the turf next spring/summer? I think she had a sneaky good turf race that doesn't look great on paper because she was 5 wide on both turns.

Her turf race at Ellis was her most promising race. We always thought she would be better on turf. And to answer your question, our plan is to get her a maiden breaking win and then try her in some turf races at Ellis, Churchill or Mountaineer.
