Yeah I know, talk about a swallowing shoe leather. LDK's CAN'T WIN FIRST OUT GOING 6F.....unbelievable

I believe your quote last night was something like...

"I don't bet LDK babies sprinting first out. If they win sprinting first out, they have unreal talent."

if they are gonna pay $24, I may have to bet em sprinting too:D

He is proving to be a real quality turf pappa. Even if his sprint prospect is not what you want. This one realy smoked tho.

Which is why I said I was swallowing shoe leather, do I have to simplify for it for you with your hill billy education. MY SHOE IS IN MY MOUTH.

I can blame drugs, can't I?

If it's any consolation, the off-the-hill turf course at SA has proven in the past to be more friendly to miler-types than pure-sprint types in the those 6.5f dashes. Are you familiar with the course? They start up on the hillside, 'way across the backstretch parking lot; after a bit of straight, they make a right-hand bend, then cut across to the opposite rail to make a long, sweeping left-hand turn. It is downhill until the horses get to the place where they cross the main track with about 1 furlong to run on another straight. It's not clear why miler-types do so well on it, they just do.

#12 Lemon Drop Mom in the 4th at Oaklawn on Saturday. Tim Ritchey scores often (22%) with first timers too. Get you some!

The 6 1/2 is down hill is fiendly to horses that change leads well and since most mile turf coarses have tighter turns the turf milers fit the down hill.
