Whew--survived a very close photo. But, man they were going very fast at the start. 2 horse prob would have won if she didnt stumble.

Coach Pants 01-18-2007 05:14 PM

There I go dissin' the NoCal trainer.

Good start, euro.

Rootdog1 01-18-2007 05:17 PM

Nice call on the 7...lost by a whisker, 12 still kept ya live...I hate going that far outside in a 6F, but put a nice 10$ WPS on the 7 for about 100 bucks or so.

You da man!

eurobounce 01-18-2007 05:26 PM

From the first 5 races it appears that horses that are going wide into the stretch are doing well.

Good call on the 7 you guys. I totally dismissed the horse. I thought she would get caught up in the speed duel. I won't miss her in her next start.

Rootdog1 01-18-2007 05:27 PM

thanks rudeboy.......that whisker cost both of us some cash.

I really like mom is ready if she is right......that is a big "if" though in these claiming races!

Bosset looks like a really good bet to hit the board in the 7th down the hill. Blinkers come off on the cut back, I love the cutback from 1mile to the 6.5f down the hill......she be rolling late.

Coach Pants 01-18-2007 05:28 PM

Can't pass up the pick 3
Race 6
3,4,7
2,3,8
4,6

3x3x2= 18+2 = seventeen...no...wait...$36

3,4,7 tri, ex box $1

$11 err $12

Race 6 - Anyone have any idea why the 7 Iza General is floating up in odds? 7-1 on this horse is a nice price when looking at his form at Santa Anita.

No clue. I've been watching the board. If he's 6-1 or higher i'm firing.

He looked good in the post parade. I couldnt see anything that would keep me from betting him. I am with you, 6-1 or higher with 2 to post I am firing $100 across on him.

Rootdog1 01-18-2007 05:35 PM

I like the horse, but this is a tough field....heck PT's is a grade 1 winner. Anywho, i would say I question him at this class level. The last two on the Poly were good but back to the traditional highway here. Still, good value at 6-1
