Isn't the inflation rate over the year about 3.2%? That would mean the purses were stagnant relative to inflation and that handle is actually down relative to inflation.

I believe that 3.2% is correct. I am not 100% sure.

rate of inflation

2005 = 3.4%
2006 = 2.2%
