Bizarre coincidence GP 6th-7th

Anyone notice that strangely, half brother and sister Rock Pulpit (3yo) and Nottawasaga (4yo) run in back to back races today at GP (6th-7th)? The pair, out of Storm Cat mare Wind River, have been brought up by entirely different sets of connections, etc., and yet show up on the same card back to back...

You can't make this stuff up...

and in the 6th race Rock Pulpit is #7
in the 7th Nottawasaga is the #6

btw.. own a '67 Cougar and they are both out of a Storm Cat mare..
and I had a dream this morning about a calico cat. Now I have to make a trip to the OTB and bet these two.. Wait, I should get something in the mail today that'll take my OTB money away. But if I win I can get 2 shares...;)

Which is why, even with no money on him, i was hoping so badly that all the strange events in the world would occur and Lewis Michael would win the BC Sprint this year.

For no reason other than it would have been hilarious for two full siblings to win on the same BC card.

This exact same thing happened (even down to the race numbers!) at BEL on Sept. 24th. I recall this because one of my fillies was making her first start and her half out of the same mare was in the race before it. Again, entirely different circumstances, entirely different connections.

Vicaracci and American Dream'a are both from the mare Dodge Fever, by Dodge. Vicaracci was a 3yo and AD was making her first start as a 2yo. Vicaracci was in race 6 and we were in race 7.

...queue the Rod Sirling pic:eek:
