Dubai - No wagering in Dubai

So if you go to the Dubai World Cup, how the hell do you place wagers?

I am guessing my Sprint cell phone doesn't work there either so no phone into Youbet.....

How the hell can you get to Dubai when you can't make it here for the Sun Millions?

Do you need a passport to go to Vegas?

Hey, good call on that Gulf race. If you had 1-7, you were gifted a bit.

And you can always wager a little something with me.

I've got an opportunity to go this year,( basically I'm into it for the airfare from JFK; then all of the other expenses are cared for) but I'm really on the fence as to whether it's worth it. I mean, the racing is unparrelled for sure, but geez, I don't know if it's worth the hassle of a 20+ hour flight...You can't drink at the track, you can't bet at the track, etc,...I respect their culture, but I don't know if it's for me, Actually I do know -it isn't.

You should go, it would be worth it. Buy a laptop and bet before you go, you will be the only one in the place going nuts.....

Dubai- No wagering in Dubai

:)
Rudeboyelvis and everyone else what are you waiting for? Get over here! Dubai is the best place. If you really like horseracing you must attend a Dubai World Cup in lifetime.
Let me set this right for everyone:
1- JFK(New York) to DXB(Dubai) direct on Emirates Airlines is 12.5 to 13 hours.
2- Cell phones- easy and better system than US. Everyone uses one, and it is so cheep and easy to get. You can get one at most gas stations and supermarkets, and some hotels give one to use durring your stay.
3- Gambling- Yes there is no gambling here, but use your cell to call any phone a bet account(OTB,TVG Etc.). but don't forget the free pick-6. Cash prizes, Cars etc.
4- Drinking-YES! YES! YES! You can drink in DUBAI! At the races, bars, pubs, and dance clubs, concerts.
65,000+ on course on World cup day can't be wrong!
Get to the International Village, or the Bubble Lounge(Champane all day+night) the best.

I am still trying to recover from Thurs. nights races!

I have been coming here for well over 10 years. Dubai has everything you can think of.
Women do not need to cover up, and can shop and wear the best designer lines. Bring your bikini for the beach, and your golf clubs!
Any other questions?
