The classical sights in Rome are very nice. Rome itself is a dump, unsafe, with hookers on every corner and polluted. I was there not long ago, I'm accurate.

Florence was much nicer....Venice was my favorite but it isn't clean.

I could not agree more. I stayed in Florence for awhile about two years ago and loved every part of it. It was clean and it was well maintained and had plenty to do. Once you got past the big sights in Rome (ie your Vatican and Coliseum-style attractions), it had little else to offer.

Florence is the place to go. You are absolutely accurate on this one.

Lots of hookers...well, it has that going for it. I gotta ask though, did you see hookers on Vatican grounds? Humm, how many Pope Johns were there?

Hummm, poluted hookers...and they aren't big on raincoats over there!

Not in Vatican City although anything is possible.

Rome is covered with them, though.
