Dirt. 12 total races. 1 Wire-wire winner. That horse, Draw Fire, was plunging and won by 7 lengths. IMO, it's been modest anti-speed but they are not coming from way back.
Turf. 6 total races (all 2-turn). OF the horses that have been 1st, 2nd or 3rd at the 1/2 mile pole, none of them have won and only three of the 18 have finished in the money. It's certainly been less kind to early speed than Calder.
It's a small sample... only 2 days.
