This weather just sucks. If I wanted it to be 60s in January I'd move to Florida.

It's going to mean TERRIBLE insect problems in the spring and summer because eggs that should have frozen and died won't have. Blech. If I wanted swarms of insects I'd move to Florida!

(This is not an attack on Florida- Florida just happens to be warm and have lots of insects)

weather is beautiful here today as well...supposed to reach 70

... Though I did get a kick out of the 40-something woman on the street in front of our apartment building, waxing her car, with the windows down and Al Green blasting from her car stereo. Not the usual winter sight.

ticks on my dog in January...yuck:(

But, isn't the Al Green thing usual? :D

Sadly, the younger residents of my 'hood don't seem to appreciate the Greenman, at least, judging from what they blare from their cars.

That's for sure! Can't stand all that bass thumpin'!

And somehow, the thought that they will all be deaf by 30 is of small comfort at three AM and that bass is a thumpin' right into my window.
