Spoke last night with Ric Hammerle from Santa Anita.. They lost their main transmission line Friday and had to decipher how much money was transfered into the pools and how much had to be refunded to bettors from around the country.. He said he's never seen this happen before..

Unofficially, he says the P6 was hit by at least one bettor on-track...

That's as much as he knew as of 11pm.. and he's Director of Racing.

Hit for $250,000.. Possibly a single ticket because I believe I saw just a tad more than that flashed as "in the pool and growing" before the 3rd race yesterday...
