You know DaHoss, that is an awful interesting idea. Maybe to better his image he should dedicate 100k a year to claiming 5k claimers that shouldn't be running anymore. That is 20 horses that would be retired to a good home

Don't bite my head off here. I'm asking because I don't know. Did Premium Tap run with Lasix before? I read and re-read the article and didn't see where they said that he's on it.

"When you look on the form and see that the only race that Invasor's ever lost was in Dubai (the grade II UAE Derby) where he couldn't run on Lasix, you wonder if maybe he might not be that invincible there," Kimmel said immediately after the Clark. "I know (Premium Tap) doesn't need Lasix. He's been very clean. He's never been a bleeder and that's a nice thing to know. Some horses go over there and you know they depend on that Lasix to keep from bleeding, but that's not the case with this horse."

What he is saying here is that Invasor won't be able to run with Lasix in Dubai if they face him there and maybe that will be the difference and enough to turn the tables from the BC Classic since apparently Invasor has used it for the rest of his races. He said that Premium Tap doesn't need it so by him not being able to use it in Dubai, it won't put him at any disadvantage because it won't be a change for him.

Nevermind. I found the answer. It is an interesting question. Premium Tap has used it for every race of his career except his first race.

it is better to run on Lasix and not need it than to run without Lasix and find out you need it
