It's this Christmas Eve.. he races in the 12f Arima Kinen where he lost for the first time last year, beaten by Hearts Cry.. I hope he retires with glorious victory and I think he becomes the all time leading career earner from T M Opera O if he wins it. Good luck to him.. Its been a great 18 months following him (too short!!) but thanks to the marvels of YouTube, Ive been able to follow his career so much closer than I previously could have..

not sure what the start time will be, but should be about 1am ET.

Deep Impact against the top 2 finishers of the Melbourne Cup.

Would love to see this guy go out with a win. He is one of the better turf horses we have seen in a while. He is a champion through and through. Just give us one more buddy.

One of the most electrifying performers i have ever seen. He moves over the ground in a way that is simply sublime. A great horse, I will miss his presence on the racetrack.

He really was something else.

That move on the turn was simply awesome!

he may have not had the same successes...he's a legend, so it worked out in the end.

Thanks Deep Impact...truly great horse. I hope you carry on the legacy of your great father at stud.
