Hollywood Starlet

Mistical Plan looks like she she should win this, but she has yet to race at this distance, or on the poly and gets an outside post. Looking elsewhere for the winner. Here are my picks:

6. Quick Little Miss
7. Runways Rosie
12. Mistical Plan
8. Down

That's a nice team. Those 4 trainers win 80% of the graded races they run in.

Guess we shall see whether that means anything or not. Didn't seem to mean much in the feature race yesterday with the trainer's graded stakes wins at 6% and I may get burned today by the same connections with the 2 horse. Tried to include a couple that I know can get the distance and of course the 12 because she just looks like the likely pacesetter and Frankel's horse because he is one of 2 or 3 trainer's (Pletcher and Dutrow being the others)that you can't afford to ignore when they enter a maiden winner in a stakes.

Down is STILL a maiden, yet still looks intriuging to me in this spot. She was scratched in a MSW race a week or 2 ago, and this is obviously the reason.
That being said, Mistical Plan looks to be the speed of the speed, and that's where I'm leaning.

Can't fault anyone who goes with her. Her figs are the best in this group and track seemed to be playing to the speed yesterday. She is a must play in the exotics.

I just hate the outside posts in these 1 1/16 races on the main track at Hollywood. I think I will play Baroness Thatcher with Down

2Hot4TV 12-17-2006 05:22 PM

Now I see Baroness is scratched!

Runway Rosie.

I took a shot with a couple bombs, the 2 who apparently knows nothing about harnessing speed but will certainly provide a cheap thrill, and the 4 at 25-1 who could sit a beautiful trip on the rail with two 2-turn races under her belt already (albeit on turf.)
Don't like the 8 at 5/2 or the 12 at 4-1 (the outside post is brutal at a mile and a sixteenth.)

Somebody forgot to tell me it's David Flores Day at Hollywood. Nice pickin' to those that had Romance is Diane, there was a lot to like there at 16-1.

I liked Hucking Hot to clunk up for 3-4, so i keyed her in the lower slots.
was able to take a dime super out of it.

I also really liked Romance is Diane on top but also used three others.

How can that be the same guy that butchered the 2 rides for Chatlos(Optari, and Marked Warrior.)He is talented.Anybody that sees how much run he is capable of getting from horses has to wonder wtf he has been doing the last 3 weeks.Seemed like he had 13 wins at the meet for like 3 weeks(just stayed at 13.) Next time take the kid to the track earlier.Don Chatlos will go pick her up personally.

Went back and forth between Flores horse and Gomez horse and eventually picked Gomez horse admittedly partly because it was Gomez horse, but also
because his horse had won an "open" handicap and Flores horse had won a restricted handicap. Outsmarted myself as usual. Congrats from me also to those that had her.
