Tank Johnson

Not sure how the national media is treating the story but the real deal is this guy and his live-in 'bodyguard' had their house raided on Thur morning on a warrant caused by neighbors complaints of target shooting in the back (the guy lives in a heavily populated area with many kids). Following the execution of the warrant the cops come away with 3 semi automatic handguns, 2 .223 assault rifles (all loaded) and 3 oz. of weed. Bodyguard cops to the weed and Tank takes the hit for the unregistered guns (2nd offense) and both are arrested. Note Tank also has a wife and two small kids livng at the Gurnee house.
They must have posted bail cause Friday night both are out at an up-scale Chicago bar and the story I have is bodyguard is waving around a gun while arguing in the bar and obviously ran into the wrong people as he was executed with a shot to the head. My question is what the hell were these two thinking? Totally unbelievable in my mind.

Thug life Dell. Supposedly Tank is 'concerned' about what his family(but has loaded semi-autos and sniper rifles loaded) and his Bear family think. But then he goes to a bar where their are fights all the time, 1 day after he gets pinched.

I have a friend who lives in Tank's 'hood. He says the cops have been there a dozen times during the past few months. Word is they've been dying to get inside. They got their warrant, obviously.

It's insane to think a guy Tank's size requires a "bodyguard" on road trips.

I've heard there's an ex-FBI guy (Dillon?) on the Bears payroll as a "security advisor." Problem is this guy reportedly organized outings at a shooting range in Waukegan. A couple players got into a huge drunken fight at the place last year. One was O. Kreutz, the other I forget.

WTF are they all thinking? Seemingly, not very well.

Football players, booze and guns. Uh huh. No problems there. Somebody get Virginia a chair fast.

When anyone dies, it is sad and may Willie Posey RIP.

Heard the same thing. Apparantly Tank's idea of a backyard b-b-que includes target shooting. Nothing like living next to a night time shooting range. 50 cal Desert Eagle sounds like an M-80 going off.

athletic talent/money doesn't = brains/common sense/legal behavior.

Yeah, Kreutz got pissed and broke Miller's jaw, it was hilarious. Shooting guns and getting hammered. only in chicago.

As far as Kreutz today, he is so ridiculous on the field, talking so much **** and telling the Buc players to look at the scoreboard and they almost blew it.

I am getting SICK of the teams I am favorite of. Cubs suck. Bears can't get healthy or they get arrested, or they fumble, and the Salukis played like UTTER **** tonight at Indiana
