does anyone here bowl?

dude, i'm terrible because i only do it when im drinking heavily with friends...

but i love bowling.

I average about 195-200, very streaky though.....

what balls do u use Scav

I average 120 and I stink. I love to bowl, though... it's fun.

Thats gonna get you on the PBA tour? You said you had PBA talent.

PBA tour requires a 200 avg over a 1 or 2 year period time.

Does anyone else get better at bowling the more they drink? I do... I wondered if it was just me. :o

it's sort of like a bell curve.

when i first start bowling, usually on drink #1, I am terrible.

Somewhere around drink #3-4 I get really good.

Then I drink more and I just get too drunk to bowl properly.

So yes and no is my answer :)

Though I average somewhere between 120 and 160 depending on at what point in the bell curve the game ends :)

Once I got a 39, and what's the deal with those two pins in the back at the corners that don't fall down? Anyway, the folks that run the joint came and put something over the ditches (ugg... or are they "gutters") to try to help me. I think I got a 22 after that.
Warning...I'm worse at darts so "no apple on the head" stuff unless you are a real risk taker.

Mike, that 202 could be what they call the Sport Shot. A much difficult dressing of the lanes compare to regular Bowling these days. I bowl on both. I currently have a 218 average on the regular house bowling while averaging 196 on the Sport Condition.

I dont bowl on a sport shot, a good number of houses in the Seattle area have chose not to put out a Sport Condition shot due to whiney bowlers who like their adult bumper bowling and inflated averages. Regular league bowling has become a matter of who can carry.

I stole my bowling ball from the local bowling alley. It is only 14lbs and it is PINK, and I still F'n ROLL...To add to the comediness, I only use two fingers, the most I ever use, in all situations.......

yup, but even the sport shots are becoming easier. They dont flood the lanes anymore
