Christmas Music / Movies

Take me out back and shoot me instead of forcing me to listen to Christmas songs all day

Take me out back and shoot me instead of having to watch the most overplayed Christmas movie of all time - Ralphie and his Red Ryder BB Gun. I enjoyed the movie the first 2 or 3 times, it is now OFFICIALLY OLD AND SHOULD BE RETIRED to only being shown once or twice

Give me National Lampoons Christmas Vacation every year for a good drunk laugh after laugh - Cousin Eddie is the best with his 24 or 40 ounce beer in hand, usually Busch

Planes, Trains and Automobiles will always rank high on my list

How about you?

we are talking about this on that other thread in this section.

I completely hate Christmas music.
just commercially driven crap designed to get ppl to buy more toys.

as for Christmas movies,
I dont have the same hatred there.
nobody forces that down your throat like Christmas music playing in every store I walk in to during the month of December.

I am thankful, so thankful, that the Grocery Chain that I work for does not pump Christmas music thru their stores, but rather a mix of Rock and Roll and 80's and 90's Easy Listening.

The grinch...original cartoon not the movie version.
National Lampoon's X-mas Vaca....might be my favorite movie of all time.

I actually never saw it...I always loved the cartoon as a kid and I don't like change...not a huge Carrey fan either.

I like the original grinch cartoon. also charlie brown. have to admit, i do like ralphie and his red ryder bb gun. not something i will watch repeatedly, but once a season does just fine.
also enjoy nat'l lampoon.
have no problem with christmas music in the last few days leading up to christmas. the loooong, drawn out buying season is what bugs me.....

BUT, a caveat. i hate the elvis blue christmas song. for that atrocity alone, i can see why death on a toilet was the three fates way of seeing him off.

LOL...so true. I hate that song.

The only Christmas song I like is the Snoopy/Red Baron one. I don't know the name of it but I don't switch the station when it's on.

Well if we count that as a Christmas movie.

I'd say Die Hard is the best. LOL!

I watched It's a Wonderful Life with one of my buddies last year, and he started to cry! I thought i was sad, but I never thought I would see this guy cry. That gave me a good laugh. I got Scrooged for xmas from my boss last year, but haven't watched it yet.

P.S. Christmas music is the ****!

You haven't seen Scrooged with Bill Murray? Great flick... you'll enjoy it.
