Good luck Gus and happy opening day at Colonial!

I think the #9 Portofino in race 6 and the #7 Lady De Berry in race 8 are worth taking shots against. Waiting for scratches but planning to play a small Pick 4 ticket.

3,10 / 4,5,12 / 2,5,8 / 4,7,8

Thanks for posting Gus...

I'm looking at a longshot in the nitecap...not saying she will win but I may throw a few bucks to w/p on the #5 Louise Brooks. Her last run on the grass was back in August and she hung at the wire getting the place dough. She is back in Lynn Ashbys barn and I feel like her last two were just paid workouts due to the 4 horse fields and on the dirt, less than a week apart. $6K in winnings, not bad to just show up. The bug is up, rails at 80' is concerning, If she can run her August race, she has a shot against these.

I have bet on way worse than this so it will be worth a sawbuck or two...
Good Luck!!

Good luck, I heard they got some overnight rain. Atmidnight in finale had a awful trip last time at Hawthorne and gets Paco today. If she can class up, she's definitely worth a play.

That looks like a good betting race to take a shot. I’m looking hard at that 9 horse. GL

Definitely a tricky race and she's got a shot in what looks like an open race.

After scratches, made a few changes. Don’t love singling a maiden who seems to find ways to lose but I’ll take a shot on her. Added the 2 in the final leg as that was a bad trip, and figure Paco will give a good ride. Decided to attack this with the hope of landing a bomb in race 7. None of the short prices seems to have a major edge over this field.

Good luck to all.

Other plays: I really like the #3 Miami Frank in race 2.

I didn’t bet her but she also had two pitiful races last year in May/June after a long layoff and then started to gear up into form. So it would not be shocking to see her start to run much better.

Needed the McPeek horse in race 3 to get up there for a pretty big score. Almost.

$31K....

Race 8

Louise Brooks is taking some money, I would play her if she was 20/1 or higher, I have a small double live to her so will leave it at that, put this small trifecta in for some more maction

.50 cent Trifecta

4,10/4-5,7,10/1-2,4-5,7-8,10

Tough day today. I was close on a lot of races but couldn’t string them together. Either the 8 in race 3 or the 8 in race 7 winning would have put me up for the day.

Back at it tomorrow, probably to Saratoga.
