I'll vote for that, but not sure how you intend to combine them. There are 10 at Gulf and 6 at Oaklawn. Maybe all the Gulf and a one or two at Oaklawn like the Arkansas Derby and the Fantasy or maybe just the Arkansas Derby?

I like your concept, but that's a mighty ambitious contest card you've presented. I think I count 10 stakes races from GP and another 6 from Oaklawn.

What would you think about paring it down a little by eliminating some of the races that are called stakes races but are more like overnight handicaps with enhanced purses, such as the Army Mule and Cutler Bay at Gulfstream and the Eclipse Overnight and the American Pharoah Overnight at Oaklawn?

I won't be available again until late tomorrow evening so won't be able to join in any discussion. I'll post the threads tomorrow night with whatever combination you finally decide.

That's a full dance card, but since you're willing to score that many races, that's what I'll post.

Out of respect for Real Quiet, with that many races on the card, I'm going to limit the ROI to only the races on our contest card. That should give everyone enough options.

I am so glad I no longer play in the points contest. I don't know whether I could finish handicapping by Saturday.:eek::D That said, I do appreciate Digger's willingness to play the Arkansas Derby races along with the Florida races. Hard to say whether any of them will have anything to say about the Kentucky Derby, but we all know, they could.

After doing the Oaklawn card yesterday I saw Digger edited his race choices. That does not make me a happy camper.

And 16 races is way too many for me. I am out of this weeks point contest.

That 2 Tracks Have Awesome Cards On Sane Day :(

It is still possible to watch, bet on and enjoy parts of two great cards without making them the subject of our contest.

I'm playing the points contest but frankly didn't have time to do anything close to an adequate job of handicapping all of those races.
