Brendan Walsh has a colt named Gosger that is a half to a couple graded stakes winning / placed siblings (Harvey’s Lil Goil and Archie the Giza). I see he’s nominated for the Florida Derby.

Anyone have any more details on this horse, if they are trying to get him in the Derby?

IIRC, I had a nice bet on Harvey’s Lil Goil when she made her turf debut. Would be cool to see this colt get in the race.

I just read that Owen Almighty connections have changed their mind and he will be in the Derby.

It's unbelievable that Lynch has had to deal with this.. winning the Tampa Bay Derby not once, but twice.. and having to accede to owners that insist on running in the Derby.

Built to Pat Day Mile, per Aron Wellman. That puts Neoequos into the Kentucky Derby field.

Glad to see them decide on the mile for Built. Great decision

It’s crazy to think that a couple days ago, we didn’t know if Baeza was going to make the gate. That horse ran a big race. Running 2nd in one of the major preps should automatically get you in.
