I really need to spend more time proofreading my work. This ticket makes no sense, or at least the third part doesn't. My notes tell me that the third segment was to have been with #4 in the 8th race, as a way of picking up another runner on the final leg, but at a lower wager than the primary ticket. Chalk this one up to something foolish.:(

Added after race 9 - It turns out that I wasn't penalized for my stupidity. #9 won race 9 at odds on, making the primary ticket a winner. The racing Gods are usually not so merciful - they tend to penalize those who are foolish in their handicapping or their money management.
