I posted about her on Sunday. She was sent over along with Price Tag. I've liked what I have seen in her workout notifications, but have no idea of the sort of horses she is up against.

Nope. If you are on here after her race, could you kindly post how she does? I'm at work. Thanks!

Any chance you watched yesterday's racing at Hollywood? What did you think of Indy's Windy? (she's not trained by Frankel, but I was very fond of her as a yearling)

If Dixie missed it, I'm sure his date, Norma Desmond, can fill you in.

I thought Indy's Windy ran well yesterday but was one race short of being at her best.
She sat 5th behind some sprinters who were attempting to stretch out, and had a very good trip.
She made her move on the turn and kicked away at the 1/8th pole before being narrowly nailed late by a horse who had a HORROR show trip in her previous race at two turns.
She was game and battled back even after she had been narrowly passed and wasn't giving any ground to the winner late, as a matter of fact she held the margin she got passed by to the same margin to the wire.
Just looked to me like the one sprint prep she had wasn't quite enough to get herto peak fitness level.
Next out she will have had that two turn race under her belt and will be making her third start in the form cycle, shes probably gonna get the money next out. Not sure that she has stakes talent though. Definitely enough talent to break her maiden and go through conditions.

Thanks very much. :)

Caught the replay on Calracing.com and I liked what I saw. :) I hope Juddmonte has sent over a few others like her and Price Tag.

She would have dusted the field in the Bayakoa. Waste of a race for her, no way they go 1:41 on Sunday.

Guess you're home from work:D I'm going out for dinner.

Nice race. Wouldn't have blown out a match at the spit box.

Dream Lady runs BIG tomorrow @ Calder if she makes it in from the parking lot.;)

Now by "runs BIG tomorrow" I take it they're supposed to hit the board. No?

Anyway congrats on Phantom Rose, a bargain at $3.40 for the win.

You may be right. His other trick is that no matter how bad his horse selections are, he'll come on later and say something about how it doesn't matter because he made some huge fortune on a football game. He never loses in the end, he can always escape with some big play on USC, etc.

All posted, of course, from the press box at the Staples Center.

blackthroatedwind 12-02-2006 03:12 PM

I am sorry not to know the non-racing internet sites he also inhabits as undoubtably there are many and they contain some equally priceless stuff.

I'll bet his posts on the tribute boards to Ghandi are to die for.

Surprisingly i missed that one.

I did catch somewhere recently where he said that in addition to having discovered track bias, people also pay him $1,500 per hour for his services.

I'm trying to imagine the guy paying $1,500 and in return being told to put your money on a 3:5 shot.

We may need to convene an emergency session of chalk-eaters anonymous.
Or it may already be too late.

Dixie, what happened to USC buddy?

As for Dream Lady and Neuilly the post draw was a little weaker than hoped for.

Now sit down, take a deep breath and get ready to "girly gossip" with those other two Queens.

I DID bet on Amorama yesterday;) and will pass on Neuilly. Did not play on Rose.............

PS: At least you're not on "ignore", I still have some respect for you and I do like Chicago (great broads in that town)

Oh my! So much material here to work with. You're truly the gift that keeps on giving. But you know what, even with all that material I'm going to pass it up because I'm overcome with emotion just knowing that I'm not on ignore anymore. As Linda Richman would say "I think i'm getting verklempt".

blackthroatedwind 12-03-2006 09:54 AM

The Calder race was drawn on Tuesday or Wednesday so even a mythomoaniac like Dixie can't claim he didn't know Dream Lady's post ( which by the way was seven or eight after the late scratches ) when he made up that he was betting her.

Frankly, nobody believes you were betting her, just as nobody believes you bet anything, because basically every post made by Dixie is a complete and utter fabrication.

Please, just tell us the other boards you post on. It's simply not fair to deny us the pleasure of seeing your entire internet ouevre.
