Couple of questions. Really like Honor Marie. But I have questions about Ben Curtis who I believe has never ridden in the derby. How much stock should be put on that? I’m thinking a lot, but then again it’s a 20 horse field and few jockeys have experience with that.

Next question. When will morning line odds be on pps for all Friday/Saturday races?

Put no stock at all. Since 1971, the following have all won Derby with first mount and Curtis has plenty of UK experience in bulky fields.

Stewart Elliott (2004-Smarty Jones)
Mario Gutierrez (2012-I’ll Have Another)

Steve, is this the last year of the Baffert ban?

Supposed to be. We'll see. Baffert wasn't thrilled about Zedan trying to force things through the courts. He was concerned it would cost him another year.
