Need an Over/Under (Randall?) on how long it is till the "Tampa Terror" arrives on this thread...

Our own "GPK", Kevin O'Bey, will be capping the TBD action for the DT Selections Room... And you know what that means? You'd better O'Bey Kevin...

T3B:cool: has arrived. I won my first 2 weeks playing poker. Being the new guy at work...I figured 3 weeks in a row might be too much...

I am bouncing off the walls waiting for opening day of TBB

Love DC there....paid me nice a few times last year. Should get some good mounts if Lezcano does not return.

MISTERGEE 11-30-2006 10:28 PM

He Is Already Hooked Up With Some Nice Trainers From Up North, So He Will Have Plenty Of Live Mounts, And Yes Ride His Share Of Upsetters

Scav 11-30-2006 10:32 PM

He is going to be the new Lezcano at Tampa this year. He has really improved riding-wise. We have sucked the value out of Lezcano at Tampa so we need to find someone else.......

saucon17 11-30-2006 10:38 PM

What ever happen to jockey William Henry? I miss the track announcer
saying "Henry sets him down for the drive", it didn't matter how far
he was out of it.

Also is Oliver Castillo and Winston Thompson riding the meet, because their
currently riding a quite of few mounts at Laurel

MISTERGEE 11-30-2006 10:39 PM

True. Plus Lezcano Will Be Riding For K. Ziadie Which Means Odds On Most Of The Time. Ziadie Is Winnig At A 50% Clip At Crc Must Be A Miracle Worker

MISTERGEE 11-30-2006 10:40 PM

I Think Henry Is Retired But Thompson Will Probably Show Up

saucon17 11-30-2006 10:49 PM

I did well with Thompson last year. Here is the answer.

From suffolkdowns.com

For the third straight year, jockey Winston Thompson and trainer John Rigattieri captured meet titles in their respective categories.

Thompson finished the meet with 142 wins from 634 mounts (22.4%) with earnings of $1,492,889. He collected four stakes victories. Vernon Bush was second with 102 wins, followed by Dyn Panell (88) and Yamil Rosario (84). Thompson, Bush and Rosario are all headed to Tampa Bay Downs for the winter, while Panell is going to the Maryland circuit, beginning with Laurel Park.

Rigattieri's 83 wins were more than double the total of his closest competitor. He won with 25.6% of his 324 starters for $856,790 in purses. The competition for second was close, with Karl Grusmark (36 wins) finishing two ahead of Bobby Raymond (34) and three better than Kevin Clark (33). Rigattieri and Grusmark will train in Maryland this winter, while Raymond will be stationed in Tampa. As he has done in previous years, Clark will not train over the winter.

Monarch Stables, Inc. was the leading owner for the second time in the last three years. Rigattieri saddled most of Monarch's 33 winners. D and D Stable was next with 24, followed by the Yasou Stable Trust with 23.

Centeno

for what it's worth....

He'll do well at TBD, riding frst call for O'Connell. But he's strictly a speed jock and if he's first-time riding a closer, bet him at your own peril.

I like him on the front end, first time up on a horse. Had him good in the 1st at Calder yesterday.... $19.40 for Barry Rose.

looking forward to the Terror's plays. Can the 900 number be far behind?
