ROI Results 12/30 @ Gulfstream
 

Our last contest in 2023 was not an overwhelming show of handicapping but it wasn't a shutout
either. 5 bets were cashed and two players showed a profit. Zippy made three trips to the
cashiers window but failed to show a profit. Cruzan takes second place with a nice win wager
on Chapalu worth $127.50. On the negative side Chapalu was 10-1 on the morning line but
was bet down to 4-1 and it cost Cruz the win. The recipient of the falling odds on Chapulu was
Real Quiet who collected $118.80 on his 8th race exacta but an $11 scratch in the race gave
him a slightly larger return and a higher ROI. It was a fairly rough day for most players but it
was nice going down south for some warmer weather. Happy 2024 everybody. Lets hope this
year brings in some big tickets. Following are the unofficial results pending a review.
Remember I don't have the luxury of a video review but then again the NYRA stewards and
NFL refs do and it still doesn't matter. Let me know of any errors or ommissions and I'll
see you next week wherever the point winner takes us (it won't be me).
