Both Pimlico and Belmont at the Big A have cancelled racing today due to weather. Parx is just about equidistant between the two of them and will probably also be affected by storm Ophelia, with lots of rain at the least. A can't imagine they would cancel racing on their biggest day of the year (how could you possibly run a race called the Turf Monster on the main track?), but conditions can't be ideal.

Even with the early post, I can't find scratches or changes yet, but imagine that there will be lots.

What a shame that Parx biggest racing day gets affected by this storm. At least there are only two turf races. Let's hope the track holds up and everyone comes back safe.

Ruff, I don't think that we can replace scratched horses with new picks after the deadline has passed. That's why it is called a deadline. You simply have a scratch with that pick.

I always give a little leeway if you are late with your picks when you are placing an ROI wager on a later race. However 2 hours is way too late to change a pick. Parx was really bad with their scratch updates. I checked close to post time and they still had also eligibles running.
